Read Across America Week A Big Success!

Read Across America Week was 3/1-3/5/10 at EFES.  Our school celebrated by writing the authors, books, and characters “Who We Love” on Horton Hears A Who “pink puffs”.   Guest readers visited PreK-2 classrooms, and included Mr. Mike Debranski of the School Board, Mr. John Sudduth from the Suffolk Fire & Rescue Squad, and several volunteers from the Target Distribution Center in Suffolk, one of our Partners-in-Education.  To end the week, many of our staff surprised the students by dressing as book characters to “Bring Books To Life”.  Please enjoy the pictures below of the week.

Bringing Books To Life! Can you guess the characters?
