Papa John’s Teacher Delivery Night
Our staff had a great time participating in our PTA fundraiser, the Papa John’s Teacher Delivery Night. Teacher superheroes delivered pizzas to our students. This was a great fundraiser and we appreciate all of the support from our community.
Elephant’s Fork would like to thank all of the volunteers that presented during our Career Day this year.
Music and Art in our Schools Month
Families celebrated Music and Arts in our school by participating in teacher led activities in which students responded to books through crafts. Our chorus also performed three songs and Mrs. Viser and the chorus led families in a circle dance to end the night. Fun was had by all.
Thank you to our partners, the Suffolk Sheriff’s Department, for being our guest readers on Dr. Seuss Day!
EFES celebrates Black History Month
Our 2nd through 5th grade students and staff traveled to Rome, Egypt, Jamestown, and even swam with the sharks all with the help of Google Expeditions, a 360 degree virtual field trip. It was definitely an experience that they will never forget!
PTA Family Movie Night
We had a great turn out for Family Movie Night on January 8, 2015. Students enjoyed watching Minions in the gymnasium, while parents and caregivers met with teachers for fun ideas to implement reading and math at home.
Congratulations to the 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Karakla and Rookie Teacher of the Year, Ms. French!
